Ingredients:
350 g minced meat
6 tomatoes
2 onions
3 peppers orange/red
2 tsp Cafe de Paris herb mix
1 tsp curry Thai
pinch turmeric
pinch of cinnamon powder
300 g natural yogurt
2 tsp Pers. yogurt spice
1 bunch fresh parsley
1 bunch fresh coriander
½ tsp smoked paprika powder
½ tsp chili flakes
salt / pepper
Skin and chop tomatoes and peppers after hot water bath. Mix with smoked paprika, salt and pepper. Set half aside and for the spicy salsa, mix the rest with chili flakes and fresh cilantro.
Yogurt dip: mix natural yogurt with Persian yogurt seasoning and refrigerate. Knead ground beef with Cafe de Paris herb blend, curry, turmeric, cinnamon, fresh parsley, salt and pepper. Shape into 8 equal sized balls. Fry in pan with a little oil. Add onion rings until translucent. Add the tomato and bell pepper mixture to the pan without chili and heat.
Serve meatballs on the tomato-paprika mixture with spicy salsa and yogurt dip. This also goes well with rice as a side dish.
